About
Welcome to CHURROS BAR MARTA, a delightful oasis nestled in the heart of Córdoba, Spain, located at C. Cruz Conde, 32, Centro, 14001 Cordoba. This charming establishment is a must-visit for both locals and tourists seeking a taste of Spain's beloved sweet treat—churros.
Upon entering CHURROS BAR MARTA, you are enveloped in a cozy atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The friendly staff greets you with a warm smile and, as customer Zofia de Groot fondly recalls, they immediately present you with a plate of fresh churros and two cups of rich hot chocolate. It's the perfect antidote for a chilly day and a surefire way to lift your spirits.
Every bite of the churros here is a reminder of the simple pleasures in life. Light and airy, they pair perfectly with the creamy hot chocolate, which many describe as superb—not overly sweet, just the right balance. As Radu Ciurca points out, ordering the traditional "Chocolate y churros" experience is essential.
Despite the occasional hustle and bustle of the café, the energy adds to its charm. Customers like "Sue T" appreciate the thoughtful recommendations by waitstaff, which truly enhances the dining experience—particularly for newcomers. However, it’s wise to visit during off-peak times if you prefer a more laid-back atmosphere.
In conclusion, whether you come for breakfast or a midday snack, CHURROS BAR MARTA promises a genuine taste of Córdoba’s culinary culture. The combination of warm hospitality, delicious fare, and a cozy ambiance is why I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by this gem in the city. You won’t just leave with a satisfied stomach, but with memories of a delightful experience.
“ Perfectly cozy, we walked in, the waiter asked us “churros?” and immediately brought us a plate full of churros and two cups of hot chocolate. It was a cold day and this was the first place in the city where we felt warm. We sat there for over an hour, and the place seemed popular among tourists and locals alike. The service was very kind. And it was also quite cheap! Overall would recommend stopping there for a snack (but I would recommend coming a bit hungry, it was quite filling tbh). ”
“ The churros are fresh and not oily, it is the best we have in Spain. The waiters are very nice, even we don’t speak Spanish, they understand what we want and treat us well. We came again the next morning to enjoy the churros. The price is very reasonable and we highly recommend. ”
“ When in Cordoba and want something sweet - check this place! Churros are fresh and chocolate is sweet, coffee good and some pastries/sandwiches available. Great service :) ”
“ Definitely the best churros to be had when you are in Cordoba. I've been here multiple times and didn't have a bad experience. Waiters can be in a hurry, but that's understandable since there are lots of people coming in and out. "Chocolate y churros" is what you want to get. Churros on its own isn't sweet, but that's how it's supposed to be around here. If you want something that's not sweet, you can get a "tostada" with a coffee, although the coffee isn't great. Overall, an iconic spot in Cordoba, would recommend. ”
“ We found this place via Google reviews so feel compelled to repay the favour. It was an excellent spot for breakfast - we attempted to order 2 chocolate con churros but was cautioned that it would be too much so the waitress suggested alternatives. This was really appreciated for someone new to the local breakfast culture. The hot chocolate was superb; churros were great (airy and not doughy); the toast with tomato and jamon was delicious really crunchy and good. Fantastic and friendly service too, we felt great starting off our day with breakfast here. It gets busy and for good reason! ”
